Shoulder Health Workshop at Entity Fitness and Space BAR Wellness addressing rotator cuff tendinopathy.
In case you missed it, here are some key takeaways:
Rotator cuff muscles are the second line of defense for shoulder injuries.
Posterior muscles (infraspinatus, teres minor) strength helps prevent superior migration of the humeral head, thus helping prevent subacromial impingement.
Shoulder joint centration prevents joint shearing and protects passive structures from being damaged.
A decentralized joint promotes damaging shear forces.
Eccentric and concentric closed-chain exercises for scapular stabilizers should be used in a high rep dosage 2x daily.
If you found this information helpful please share this with someone who is dealing with shoulder and/or other related pain.
